A Must-Have Checklist For Choosing The Right Franchise

If you’re going to buy a franchise, there are certain things that you must do right.

Our uncertain economy should provide you with enough motivation to learn about things that can save you future financial headaches. If you’ve been subscribed to this blog for awhile, you know my feelings about doing thorough franchise research as a way to significantly lower your risk.

However, this post isn’t about doing proper franchise research; it’s about making sure that certain criteria is met before you begin diving into the research phase.

If you’d like to avoid a financial mess, and the embarrassment that would be associated with it, I strongly suggest that you get out your notepad, and create a checklist.

The 5 things that I’m going to provide for this checklist  have nothing to do with what’s perceived as being “hot” right now; as a matter of fact, they have nothing to do with current or even past franchise trends…at all.

They have to do with you.
