(Drug-Induced Sleeping on the Job)
Can you believe it? Is this crazy, or what?
Who in their right mind would sprinkle sleeping pill powder in coffee cups at several franchise development company’s offices in the US?
It’s Crazy I Tell You. Crazy.
Maybe this is why the last two years have produced some of the
Most humdrum, painfully boring, and seriously mind-numbing stable of new franchise concepts in recent franchise industry history!
You have to admit that there just aren’t that many franchise business concepts out there right now that exude lots of energy. In these happy times, franchise buyers and consumers want some excitement!
I’ve given examples of the types of franchises that create excitement in the past.
Like These
With the economy kind of in the tank, politicians acting like Kindergartners, and assorted noxious irritants constantly floating around the globe, don’t you think that we could all use some “extraordinary?” Something out of the norm. Something elegantly different?
I’ve been searching the recesses of my mind the past couple of days, (yes-there are plenty of them) for a few exciting franchise business opportunities that are being offered in the US.
I found one.
One.
The folks at Men in Kilts have turned window washing into an exciting, fun, easily talked about, franchise business.
And, it is exciting. C’mon! You know that if you were driving down the main street of your hometown, and saw three dudes in Kilts up on a ladder cleaning windows, you’d stop your car.
You would. Or, you’d tell a few people what you saw.
In our attention-deficit disordered daily lives, marketing messages have to be compelling, or they’re just not remembered.
If you’re thinking about turning your business-or business idea, into a franchise business, I recommend that you turn right around, and go back to the drawing board. You’re going to have to find a way to make your idea…your new concept, sing. Go on…take your idea to the next level. That’s right; I’m issuing a challenge. You need to do this if you want to win the hearts and minds of today’s busy franchise buyer’s and consumers.
If you don’t, you’ve got nothing.
Oh…the Drugged story up above. I was kidding. I just wanted to get your attention.
You need to do that too, with your new franchise business concept.
Or, maybe you need to revamp your old, tired one.
